CMSS swimmers have the opportunity to represent the club at a variety of competitive events throughout the year. These include our own Club Championships and inter-club gala, an annual dual meet with another local club, and a Halloween Festival of Swimming, where swimmers from several clubs come together to compete.
Swimmers may also be selected to represent CMSS in the John Carrie Memorial Shield Gala and the Millennium League. The league consists of eight clubs competing across three rounds, culminating in the Trophy Gala. We were incredibly proud to be crowned winners of the Millennium League Barbara Upton Trophy Gala in 2026.
These events give swimmers valuable racing experience and the chance to represent CMSS as part of a team. Competition is always fun, friendly and supportive, helping swimmers to build confidence, develop their skills and, most importantly, enjoy their swimming.
