Head Coach

Kim our head coach has had an impressive swimming career so far and swam internationally for South Africa. She works hard to pass this talent on to our swimmers and since she has been at the club we have seen great improvements.
Kim swam for South Africa at the following International Meets:

1994 – Junior SA Team to Germany 
1996 – SA Team to Mare Nostrum Competition in Monte Carlo, Barcelona and Canet 
1997 – SA Team to World University Games in Sicily, Italy. Won bronze medal in 4×100 Medley Relay. 
1999 – SA Team to All Africa Games in Johannesburg, SA. Won 4 golds and one silver medal. 
1999 – SA Team to Pan Pacific Games in Sydney, Australia. 

1998-2002: Swam for Ohio University, USA. Graduated with a BSc in Biology. Competed in 2 NCAA competitions while there. Named Mid-American Conference (MAC) Swimmer of the year 2000, and MAC Outstanding Senior Swimmer 2002. Achieved 16 MAC titles and 6 MAC records in 4 years. 

Swam SA Nationals every year 1992-2002, won total of 21 Golds, 14 silvers and 4 bronze medals over the 10 years. 

Following this, established and became one of the head coaches for Tigerfish Aquatics Club in South Africa until 2008. Also established and successfully ran a swim school (Kimmopops Swim School) from 2003 – 2008. 

Started coaching for CMSS in 2009 in UK: 
-Swimmers have qualified for Kent Championships and medalled in 2013 and 2014. 
-One swimmer qualified for Regionals in 2014. 

Has been awarded induction into the Hall of Fame at Ohio University in 2014 for her swimming achievements in the USA.
